The Flower Cafe on Southside Street is now showcasing art work from local artist Emily Connor.
Local seascape artist Emily is inspired by everything around her, in particular the reflections, movement and kinetic energies of the sea. This is clearly demonstrated in her textured, mixed media paintings, all of which are original.
The Puddle Paintings – as they have become known through those who have loved and purchased these collections – are growing increasingly popular, and are created through chaos and the element of not knowing what will happen next.
This secures the fact that no two paintings can ever be the same, which in turn, creates Art very much as Nature does.
“Nature is the most talented Artist one can ever meet”, says Emily. You will feel tempted to touch the Puddle Paintings, and encouraged to do so.
Emily’s newest avenue of paintings, the Text Paintings, are fascinating, and can help turn a special memory or occasion into an unforgettable one.
She exhibits her work around the UK, and over several years her invoking artwork has grown ever more popular and sought after.
Emily welcomes commissions of all colours and sizes, to suit any interior space. Please just ask!
Newest collection currently showing at: The Flower Café, Southside Street, The Barbican, Plymouth.
