Ohhhh Arrr! The pirates are coming! After a highly successful Pirate Weekend event last year, the Barbican is set to be transformed as pirates once again invade bringing buckets of fun activites to entertain the public. Board the tall ship The Matthew, see demonstrations from live musket firing to smugglers cutlass sword fighting! Hear stories from children’s pirate storytelling and music… And that’s just the half of it! You’ll be mad to miss this!
Children dressed up as a Pirate also recieve free entry to the National Marine Aquarium and be sure to take part in the best dressed pirate competition for under 16s aboard the The Matthew each day.
