Blue Peace Gallery has been a popular feature on Southside Street on the Barbican for the last 10 years. Many people will recognise Greg Millwood’s popular and distinctive seascapes and his wife’s Di’s driftwood sculptures.
The Millwoods have recently renovated the space and introduced Di’s new range of handmade soaps. There are plenty of different varieties on display using natural ingredients and fragrances. The soaps are for sale next to Greg’s paintings, Di’s sculptures, their handmade cards, seaside decor, slate clocks and handmade papers.
The gallery is always worth a visit make sure you drop by on your next visit to the Barbican.

I have never yet managed to walk past the window of the Blue Peace Gallery without at least slowing down to look. I especially love the use of sand and pebbles, lovely work!
Now I have my own outlet on the Barbican I have more opportunities to wander past…… NOTE TO SELF: pop in and buy some soaps as presents!

I always look in the window, always nice on the eye and I’ve been tempted to buy a painting or two!
After years of visiting the Blue Peace Gallery & never actually buying anything I finally commissioned Greg to create a seascape for me & I picked it up today! It is AMAZING! I added the picture to Facebook & 22 people have commented on how beautiful & lifelike it is. Greg is a truly talented artist so if you’re thinking about getting one, bite the bullet, you only live once & you will not be disappointed!
